Wednesday, October 4 - December 6, 2017 (ten week course)

Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 pm - 317 NW Gilman Village, Ste 8, Issaquah, WA 98027

Class Concentration: After the First Draft is designed for authors who have taken Pam Binder’s introductory class, or who have finished a first draft on a novel-length manuscript.  This class helps you shape your material into a finished product.  Learn how to refine your story ideas, and define your characters. In addition, this class will teach you how to interweave plot and sub plot lines, the meaning of theme and subtext, and how to start each scene with suspense while ending each scene with a hook.  Information about how to develop your pitch, query letter, synopsis and marketing is also covered.
